About Sarika the Sanctuary
Sarika the Sanctuary Guest House is the perfect place for the budget traveler to Rishikesh. It's a home away from the home, with clean rooms and comfortable beds. Our guesthouse
The town of Rishikesh lies in the foothills of the Himalayas, sitting on the banks of sacred river Ganga. As the first town the river reaches on its descent from the mountains Rishikesh is one of the holiest places in India, and it houses many ashrams and hermitages.
Today, the town is the world capital of yoga, and thousands of visitors come every year to study, learn and absorb the atmosphere of this special place. Sarika the Sanctuary is located in Swargashram, a sacred and quiet area of the town, and an ideal base from which to explore.
